Taught in the immersion method, Kindergarten 1 & 2 are structured for non-native 4 and 5 year old children. We use the textbook “Lili, la petite grenouille”. In addition to covering basic topics such as numbers, days of the week, greetings and colors, the story book aims at developing the oral competency of non- French-speaking children. Most topics are learned through songs or games to make them interesting for children. The activity book reinforces the topics presented and all activities are first done in class. Activities will be assigned for homework to reinforce the work done during class.
