Fariza is a native of Algeria. She is a certified French elementary school teacher who graduated from the Ecole Normale of Alger. She taught French for 10 years before coming to the United States. She is now a full time instructor at Crème de la Crème.
She has been teaching at Ecole du Samedi since 2004.

Nathalie is a native French speaker. She was born in Vannes, Morbihan and she completed her undergraduate studies in Paris. Nathalie moved to Atlanta in 1986 with her husband. She is a certified public school teacher currently working at Riverside Elementary School in Cobb County. She has been teaching the Cours Preparatoire for the past four years at Ecole du Samedi.

Deme Amadou Samba is from Mauritania, West Africa. He speaks 7 languages and has lived in the United States for 10 years. Deme has been teaching for 14 years. He has taught French, English and Arabic. He is currently teaching elementary French in Cumming, GA and prior to that he taught in Lumpkin County. All his family is in Mauritania. Deme’s love of teaching is best expressed in his own words: “I love working with children and l' Ecole du Samedi has been a wonderful experience for me. I am devoted to my family and students and love sharing my experiences with my students, their parents and the staff.”

Jean-Luc is a native speaker of French. He was born in Togo and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at University Louis Pasteur and at IECS (Ecole de Commerce ) in Strasbourg, France. He has seven years of French teaching experience and he is now employed by the Atlanta Public Schools at Mays High Schools. He is married with one child and enjoys soccer, tennis and music.

Mojgan is a native speaker of French. She grew up in Paris and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Caen where she received a business degree in management in 1994. While living in Paris she taught for several years in various private schools and developed a love for bilingual education. When she came to Atlanta she applied for a teaching position at the Atlanta International School where she is now employed as a teacher’s assistant.
Ouali Ferrani - ouali@bellsouth.net
Ouali obtained his undergraduate degree at the “Université d’Alger” in Algeria before coming to the United States where he completed an MBA at the University of San Francisco. After moving to Georgia he received his French teaching K-12 certification and taught for several years at Kennesaw State University. He now teaches French at the Galloway School in Atlanta where he has been since 1999.

Erika was raised in England. She completed her higher education in England, France and Italy. She holds an undergraduate degree in French and Italian and a Masters in Contemporary European Politics. She has worked as an instructor with the preschool Play with Words and she has been with Ecole du Samedi since 2004.

Monique is a native of Belgium. She is an experienced French instructor who has lived in Atlanta for over twenty years. Mrs Bauwens completed her undergraduate studies at the "Cours Melius" in Brussels, Belgium. She also attended the University of Leuven in Belgium. She worked as a volunteer teacher at Austin Elementary School and as a consultant for Junior Diplomat, a French American Student exchange program. Monique has been working at Ecole du Samedi for the past four years.

Catherine is a native French speaker. She holds a PhD in French from Michigan State University and she has several years of French teaching experience in the United States at the elementary, high school and university level. She currently teaches at Georgia Perimeter College.

Martin is a native of Cameroun. He completed his undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Theology at the University of Yaoundé before coming to the United Sates. He completed his Masters in Educational Sciences in California, with a specialization in National Board Certified Teacher Leadership. Martin is now working on his PhD in transcultural studies and foreign languages. For the past seven years he has been teaching French in Atlanta Public Schools. He is married with four children and enjoys football, guitar and gospel music.

Catherine is a native of France where she completed her undergraduate studies. She has extensive experience with pre-school children and bilingual education. For several years Catherine directed her own day care center before joining Ecole du Samedi. She has taught the Bout’chous course since 2006.

Alice is a native speaker of French. She was born in Bénin and completed her undergraduate studies in France and in the United States. Alice has worked as an assistant principal at the Atlanta International School. She is a certified French teacher with several years of teaching experience and she is now employed by the Atlanta Public Schools.
