Ecole du Samedi is governed by a board of governors that meets once a year to approve the school budget and review long term objectives.

Michèle Olivères (bio)


Leslie Pourreau (bio)

Leslie Pourreau is the mother of two children at École du Samedi, both of whom have attended classes here since their early elementary school years. The school has played an integral role in her family's life by extending efforts to build and maintain ties to French language and culture, and Leslie and her husband serve as volunteers for school events. Professionally, Dr. Pourreau serves as a public school educator and Graduate Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. 

Aurélie Doucette (bio)

Aurélie Doucette is the mother of two children at the school. Both of her daughters started in the Bout'chous class and are still moving along the different classes in the section francophone. Her husband is American and being part of the Ecole du Samedi helps her children grow in the French culture. Aurélie also helps at the library and any other events throughout the year with the potluck, the Christmas party, the crêpes day and the kermesse. Professionally, Aurélie is a general manager for a transportation company, responsible for the southeast region. 

Maria Gindhart (bio)

Maria Gindhart has one daughter, who began at École du Samedi in the Bébé & Moi class. Although she and her husband are both American, they are Francophiles who have enjoyed volunteering at school events. Professionally, Dr. Gindhart is Associate Dean of the College of the Arts at Georgia State University and an Associate Professor of Art History specializing in eighteenth-, nineteenth-, and early twentieth-century French art.
