
These classes consist of one session per week (duration of one hour) for a period of 12 weeks in the Fall and 15 weeks in the Spring. They have a maximum of 10 people.
Beginners Class - French 101
From 9:30 am to 10:30 am
This course presents the beginning student with an orderly acquaintance with the basic structure of the French language. Our goal is to bring learners to a realistic level of proficiency through communicative activities requiring active student involvement. Homework will be assigned on a weekly basis.

Conversation Classes
These classes enable students to further their knowledge of French through discussion in an informal and friendly way.
Intermediate Level (faux débutants)
From 9:30 am to 10:30 am
To attend this course students must have a basic knowledge of French. The emphasis of the course will be on developing speaking skills e.g. accuracy, range of vocabulary and structures, intonation, pronunciation and fluency, and stimulating interest on the cultures of French-speaking peoples.
Advanced Level
From 10:45 am to 11:45 am
To attend this course students are expected to have a reasonable knowledge of the French language. The goal of the course is to develop mastery in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The instructor will use various texts as well as newspapers and magazines from France.
